Medium Shells with Marinara Sauce, Clams and Parsley

Ingredients

1 box BARILLA Medium Shells
1 jar BARILLA Marinara Sauce
1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoonsItalian parsley, chopped
1 clovegarlic minced
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper
1 can (10 ounces)whole baby clams, drained, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid


BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add parsley, garlic, salt and black pepper to taste; sauté 2 to 3 minutes.
STIR sauce into skillet. Add clams and reserved liquid. Simmer for 3 minutes. Set aside.
COOK pasta according to package directions.
HEAT sauce through while pasta is cooking.
DRAIN pasta and immediately add to sauce. Mix well. Transfer to a serving platter or bowl and serve.
