| 1 box | BARILLA Medium Shells |
| 1 jar | BARILLA Marinara Sauce |
| 1/4 cup | extra virgin olive oil |
| 3 tablespoons | Italian parsley, chopped |
| 1 clove | garlic minced |
| to taste | salt |
| to taste | freshly ground black pepper |
| 1 can (10 ounces) | whole baby clams, drained, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid |
BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add parsley, garlic, salt and black pepper to taste; sauté 2 to 3 minutes.
STIR sauce into skillet. Add clams and reserved liquid. Simmer for 3 minutes. Set aside.
COOK pasta according to package directions.
HEAT sauce through while pasta is cooking.
DRAIN pasta and immediately add to sauce. Mix well. Transfer to a serving platter or bowl and serve.
