Baked Ziti with Italian Baking Sauce

Ingredients

1 box BARILLA Ziti
1 jar BARILLA Italian Baking Sauce
to coatcooking spray
1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
1 medium (1 cup)white onion, diced
1 poundground beef
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper
1 cupwater
4 cups (16 ounces)mozzarella cheese, shredded


PREHEAT oven to 350.
BRING a large pot of water to boil.
GREASE or spray a 13x9 inch baking dish.
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion; sauté until golden. Add ground beef and cook until brown. Season with salt and pepper.
ADD Italian Baking Sauce and water. Simmer 5-10 minutes or until excess water evaporates.
COOK pasta according to the package directions. Drain and add pasta to skillet. ADD 2 cups of shredded cheese and mix well.
TRANSFER to baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
BAKE 10 -20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
