| 1 box | BARILLA Angel Hair |
| 3/4 cup | olive oil |
| 2 cloves | garlic |
| 1/2 cup | almonds |
| 1/2 cup | heavy cream |
| 10 leaves | fresh basil |
| 1/2 cup | Parmigiano cheese, grated |
| to taste | salt |
| to taste | freshly ground black pepper |
PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees. Roast almonds until golden brown. Allow to cool.
BRING a large salted pot of water to a boil
CHOP almonds in a blender. Add basil and drizzle in olive oil on low speed.
ADD garlic and heavy cream. Blend for 30 seconds
ADD Parmigiano cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
COOK Angel Hair according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta cooking water.
HEAT pesto in a sauté pan. Stir in cooked Angel Hair, adding some of the pasta cooking water as needed.
